Madonna was born on August 16th, 1958 and has been a renowned and popular singer ever since. She has not only sung but has written innumerable songs and has made a strong name for herself throughout the world.
She started her career by singing in music groups such as at Breakfast Club and Emmy, before deciding to branch out to create her own brand. When her first album was released, people all over the world started to catch on to the style that Madonna brought with her.

Some 30 years ago, on July 27, 1983, Madonna’s self-titled debut album was released, ushering in a wave of excitement which was held steady for three decades and counting. The singer made another five singles hit, with each album making a splash on the bill board’s dance chart. She made her debut at No. 190 on the BillBoard 200 chart dated Sept. 3, 1983. Later on she climbed all the way No. 8 the following year. Her records released by the Sire/Warner Bros. Records ran for more than 168 weeks. The singer’s debut album, simply titled as “Madonna,” laid the foundation for her illustrious. The album was an 8-track record that gave more visibility to the dance music scene. The singer catapulted into the limelight because of her album “Like A Virgin” which was released in 1984. It was the first of many Madonna songs and albums that hit to top tier of the pop charts.
